Curatorial Intern (Chaimowicz)

The Curatorial Intern will provide research and administrative support for contemporary exhibitions to open spring 2018 through fall 2019.  Marc Camille Chaimowicz, Your Place or Mine.. is a major career survey of the influential, London-based, contemporary artist who works across painting, sculpture, textile, and furniture design. This will be the artist’s first, solo museum exhibition in the United States and will span his 50-year career.  The Curatorial Intern will also be integral to the development of a large-scale group exhibition that will survey unorthodox artistic practices. This is a co-curated exhibition between the museum’s special director of exhibitions and the associate curator. The artists will be historical as well as contemporary, and will be working across the globe. This exhibition is in its earliest stages and thus the intern will be setting up all of the research and organizational materials related to its realization.
