Marketing Intern

The Jewish Museum seeks a creative, motivated, and attentive individual to assist the Marketing Department while developing his or her understanding of marketing strategies and activities in a professional museum environment. Working closely with the Associate Director of Marketing, Editorial Brand Manager, Marketing & Production Coordinator and Advertising & Outreach Coordinator, this internship is a terrific opportunity to assist with each stage of exhibition and program-marketing, from campaign planning, to crafting marketing materials and strategizing tactics that drive attendance.

Schedule: 2-3 days per week

Responsibilities:

  • Performing research related to museum exhibitions, artists, and marketing opportunities
  • Copyediting across multiple platforms and various collateral
  • Occasional assistance with audience data collection
  • General administrative tasks as needed for the Marketing Department

Requirements:

  • Coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, Art History, English, Journalism, History, Jewish Studies, Women’s Studies and other related studies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in advertising and marketing
  • Attention to detail
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Punctuality and dependability
